MILWAUKEE – Head coach
Mark Goldin has announced a pair of additions to the roster of the Milwaukee women's tennis team. Emilia Durska and Nikola Nikolajeva have both signed and are set to play for the Panthers.
Durska is from Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland, and will join the roster for the upcoming Spring 2024 semester. She holds a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 8.2 singles/9 doubles.
"We are excited to have Emilia joining the Panther tennis family this spring," Goldin said. "She is a perfect fit for our team both on and off the court and will have an immediate impact on our success this dual season."
Nikolajeva comes to Milwaukee from Riga, Latvia and will enroll for next fall.
"Nikola's results and ranking show that she will help take the Panther tennis program to the next level," Goldin said. "She has proved her high-level play and mental toughness in her tournaments and is a great person off the court. We are excited to have her sign with us – she will be a solid addition to the roster of good character we have on the team."
Nikolajeva holds a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 8.6 singles/8.5 doubles.
The UTR Rating was created by UTR Sports as a global rating system that promotes fair and competitive play across the tennis world. All players, regardless of age, gender, geography, or skill level, are rated on the same scale based on actual match results.
