CLEVELAND, Ohio - In their final weekend on the road of the regular season, the Milwaukee Tennis team started odd the weekend with a 7-0 loss to Cleveland State Friday afternoon from the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
With the win, the Vikings improve to 11-10, 4-0 while Milwaukee drops to 7-12, 2-2.
Cleveland State got off to a quick start earning the doubles point, winning the from the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles lines.
In singles, the
Greta Carbone won the first set, but was unable to close it out falling, 6-0, 2-6, 4-6 to Oihane Vicario. CSU closed out the rest of singles play with wins.
The Panthers will look to bounce back Sunday against Youngstown State at the YSU Indoor Tennis Center.
