Milwaukee Women’s Soccer Adds Six On National Signing Day

Group set to join league champs for next season

MILWAUKEE – Coming off the 2022 Horizon League regular-season and tournament championships, the Milwaukee women's soccer program has welcomed a group of six new student-athletes following Wednesday's official "National Signing Day" event.

Lilly Hanke of Waukesha, Wis., Ellie Rebmann of Libertyville, Ill., Jada Rivera of Macomb, Mich., Natalie Scott of Salt Lake City, Utah, Abby Vichich of St. Charles, Ill., and Maya Wilson of Downers Grove, Ill., have all signed National Letters of Intent and are set to join the Panthers for next season, announced this morning by head coach Kevin Boyd.

"We are excited about these players joining our Panther program," Boyd said. "With a goalkeeper, a defender, three midfielders, and a forward in the class, we add to each line of the field and add depth into the midfield for next year. This class adds speed and athleticism, which was a point of emphasis in our recruiting. We believe every one of these players will make us better and they all come from top clubs, which means they will come in prepared for this level of play."

Hanke comes to the Panthers from Waukesha West High School where she was named Classic 8 Conference Player of the Year in 2022, leading the team to a 7-0-1 league record. She posted a 0.61 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage in goal and is a two-year captain, helping the Wolverines earn back-to-back conference and regional championships. The First-Team All-Conference selection was also all-league in 2021, posting a 0.72 GAA and .864 save percentage. She has enjoyed a long club career with SC Wave, where she is a two-time USYS National Champion (2019/2022), two-time National Golden Glove, two-time National Best XI, and a seven-time state champion. In addition, Hanke is also a first-team all-league point guard on the basketball court.

Rebmann joins Milwaukee from Libertyville High School, where she is a ranked a three-star recruit and No. 27 in the Midwest by Top Drawer Soccer. Rebmann has helped her club team, Chicago FC United, ascend to a No. 12 ranking nationally for the 2022 season and was invited to the 2022 GA National Talent ID event.

Rivera has four years of ODP soccer experience, earning ODP Michigan State Team and Midwest Regional team honors each season. She led her squad to a state runner-up appearance as a freshman and sophomore, receiving first-team all-state honors as a freshman and second-team status as a sophomore. She earned the state title as a senior, receiving 3A MVP and first-team all-state accolades. An extensive club career began at age six and she has made the Utah ODP team four times, made region camp three times, and was selected for the region team in 2022. Second in her class with a 3.967 GPA, Scott will be graduating in December and enrolling at UWM at that point to join the Panthers.
