MILWAUKEE – Emily Petring of the Milwaukee women's soccer team has been named the Horizon League Under Armour Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced earlier this afternoon.

The league honor marks a repeat performance for the MKE senior, who now sits second in the Horizon League in both goals scored (8) and points (19) after recording five goals and a pair of assists over her past three outings.

Petring was at it again this past week, helping the Panthers to a big 3-1 win over Northern Illinois after the Huskies had scored just 75 seconds into the match. She assisted the tying goal in the eighth minute and then scored the go-ahead goal in the 21^st. She added her second goal of the contest just after halftime in the 47^th minute to finish the day with the brace (2G) and five points.

The league honor is the third of the fall season for the program, joining Emily Urban's selection as defensive player of the week Sept. 28 and Petring's first weekly award last week.
