Three February Milwaukee Soccer Games Moved Indoors

Games on Feb. 10, Feb. 16, and Feb. 24 moved

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Athletic Department has announced the moving of three soccer games to an indoor turf facility to help with February weather conditions over the next three weeks.

The following contests were scheduled to be played at Engelmann Stadium and will now be moved to the Mosh Performance Center at the Rock Sports Complex in Franklin, Wisconsin.

Feb. 10: women's soccer vs. Purdue Fort Wayne … still a 1 PM start
Feb. 16: men's soccer vs. UIC … was a 1 PM start, will now kickoff at 11 AM
Feb. 24: women's soccer vs. Wright State … still a 1 PM start

In accordance with the Horizon League indoor spectator policy, these games now fall under the same guidelines. A week ago, the Horizon League Board of Directors decided, as a part of its role of overseeing League-wide safety protocols focused on consistency and clarity for all League competition, that all indoor league sports this year will be played without fans. This policy extends to team pass lists, complimentary tickets and band/spirit squads.

The three contests were originally scheduled for a broadcast on an ESPN platform. Due to the situation, the video stream will no longer be available. However, a complete audio stream with Matt Menzl on the call will now be provided. Look for the links on the respective team schedule pages.

The Mosh Performance Center at the Rock Sports Complex in Franklin includes a brand-new indoor turf sports facility. It is attached to an integrated three-story sports medicine and fitness facility.
