MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Czhen Beneby of West Palm Beach, Florida is transferring from Virginia to play for the Milwaukee volleyball team, head coach
Susie Johnson announced on Wednesday.
Beneby was with the Cavaliers for two seasons and will be eligible to play for Milwaukee in 2022.
"We are so excited to add Czhen to our program," Johnson commented. "She will add a lot of positivity to our culture both on and off the court. Czhen is a tremendously physical athlete who is hungry to impact our program. Coming right off a conference title, Czhen is exactly what we are looking for. She has a strong desire and skillset to elevate our program to even greater heights."
Prior to her time at Virginia, Beneby was named her high school team's most valuable player in 2019 and helped lead Dreyfoos School for the Arts to its first-ever district title.
