MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Athletic Department announced today that Educators Credit Union will be the naming rights partner for the Milwaukee men's basketball radio broadcasts starting with the upcoming 2021-22 campaign.
Educators Credit Union, a Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties partner since 2017, has agreed to a deal in which it will be the partner for all MKE MBB broadcasts on 540 ESPN Radio, 101.1FM, and streaming services.
"At Educators Credit Union, we are committed to supporting local communities and dedicated to helping students along their journeys," Educators Credit Union Communications Coordinator LaBreea Watson said. "We are so excited to bring these two passions together through being the presenting sponsor of Milwaukee Panther Men's Basketball."
The "Educators Credit Union Milwaukee Panther Men's Basketball Radio Broadcast" will debut, with play-by-play announcer
Scott Warras on the call for his sixth season as the voice of the Panthers.
"This is such an exciting time for the Milwaukee Panthers and we are thrilled to expand this relationship with Educators Credit Union as we look to start the new basketball season," said LEARFIELD IMG Vice President Chris Bloomfield. "With the games now being broadcast on Good Karma Brands stations in the Milwaukee area, we are excited to partner with Educators Credit Union to help us further enhance the listening experience for Panthers fans."
Milwaukee Panther Sports Properties announced in mid-August that Panther men's basketball will be heard on Good Karma Brands' 540 ESPN and 101.1 FM starting this fall. MKE's new multi-year relationship with 540 ESPN provides Panther fans the opportunity to hear quality game broadcasts throughout the entire season on two market stations. Educators Credit Union has agreed to be involved heavily as a new season of basketball is about to get underway with a renewed excitement growing in the community and fan-base behind the Panthers this upcoming campaign.
