MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Milwaukee tennis team fell to the Marquette Golden Eagles Thursday evening, 7-0, from the Helfaer Tennis & Recreation Center.

Nikki Milner improved to 8-1 together as the doubles duo picked up the lone win for the Panthers. Clarke and Milner took an early lead in the match, but Marquette battled their way back to even the match and force a tiebreaker. It was the Panthers, however, who outlasted the Golden Eagles winning 7-6 (4) from the No. 1 line.
In singles,
Nikki Milner forced a tiebreaker from the No. 3 position after winning the second set 6-3, but came up short in the tiebreaker, falling 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 to Isabella Franks.
Next up, the conclude their non-conference schedule with a dual at Whitewater Saturday, March 7. The match will take place at the Lake Geneva Tennis Center and begin at 4 p.m.
