INDIANAPOLIS - Guided by its core value of student-athlete well-being and with the further developments in the outbreak of COVID-19, the Horizon League Council decided on Thursday, March 12 to indefinitely suspend all Horizon League-sponsored sport competition effective Friday, March 13.

Individual institutions will make decisions regarding practice and continuation of recruiting travel.

The Horizon League will continue to monitor this very fluid situation and will communicate information regarding any changes about competition or travel at a later date.

The Horizon League Council consists of the 10 member institutions' athletic directors, chairpersons of the Senior Woman's Administrators and Faculty Athletic Representatives and a student-athlete.
