MILWAUKEE – The updated 2020-21 Horizon League schedule for the Milwaukee men's basketball team has been announced, featuring a slate of 20 games split evenly between home and road venues.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the setup of the games is unprecedented, with teams playing the same opponent on back-to-back dates at the same location, once conference play gets underway.
Each school will have five home weekends and five road weekends and will play 10 of 11 league opponents (Milwaukee will not play Youngstown State in the regular season).

It all begins for fourth-year head coach
Pat Baldwin when the Panthers tip off Horizon League play with a trip to Green Bay, taking on the Phoenix December 19 and December 20.
The league home opener is then set for the day after Christmas, welcoming UIC to town on December 26-27.
The New Year tips off in exciting yet unfamiliar territory, with the Panthers traveling to battle league-newcomer Robert Morris January 1 and January 2.
The team then returns home for back-to-back weekends, with Detroit Mercy up first (Jan. 8-9) and Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 15-16) to follow.
January closes with consecutive road trips, traveling to both Cleveland State (Jan. 22-23) and IUPUI (Jan. 29-30).
February starts a challenging close to the campaign, starting by hosting a Northern Kentucky team that claimed what would have been the league's bid to the NCAA Tournament last winter following a 23-9 campaign. Those games are set for February 5 and February 6.
A trip to Wright State (Feb. 12-13) awaits next, taking on a Raiders team that won the regular-season title last season and went 25-7 overall.
The ledger then concludes with a home twinbill against Oakland (Feb. 18-19).
All game times will be announced at a later date, as will all information relating to the 2021 Horizon League Basketball Championship.
Guided by the principle of safety, the scheduling model was developed in consultation with the League's Return to Safe Play work group, athletic directors, senior woman administrators and faculty athletic representatives, with additional feedback provided by the HL men's and women's basketball coaches and student-athlete captain's council.
