CHICAGO, Ill. – Duo
Alexandra Belle and
Mayya Perova won in doubles play to remain unbeaten together, but the Milwaukee tennis team dropped the dual 6-1 to Chicago State Saturday evening.
Winning 6-3 over Cougar's No. 1 doubles team Anastasila Goncharov and Iesha Shepherd, Belle and Perova improve their record to 5-0 on the season.
Belle helped account for two wins for the Panthers defeating No. 1 Goncharov 7-6, 6-2, but the rest of the Panther squad struggled throughout singles play and were shut out in the rest of singles play.

Agata Jurczak lost the first set 6-4, but rallied back in the second 5-7 to push the match into tiebreaker. Cougar's Lizi Morgoshia and Jurczak exchanged points in a tough battle, but Morgoshia came out on top 10-6 to take the match.
MKE will look to bounce back Sunday against Missouri Valley's Valparaiso at 10 a.m. (CT) from Match Point Tennis Club in Griffith, Ind.
