Panthers Tripped Up by Norse, 4-3

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Milwaukee tennis team came up short against Northern Kentucky falling 4-3 at the Five Season Sports Club Sunday afternoon.
 
After being swept in doubles play, the Panthers nearly came back to win it in singles, but came up just short by a match.
 
Loren Nelson and Nicole Clarke won in straight sets, while Lucy Harper battled it out in a tiebreaker to win.
 
At the No. 2 position, Nelson defeated Sydney Power 6-4, 6-4, and Nicole Clarke sealed her team leading eighth match victory in a 6-1, 6-1 win over Taylor Culbertson from the No. 4 spot.
 
Harper dropped the second set 4-6 after winning the first 6-4, but came back and won the tiebreaker 1-0 (1).
 
The Panthers look to get back on track in it's next match against UIC, Sat., April 14. The team will follow-up with IUPUI the following day. Both matches will be held in Milwaukee at River Glen Elite.
