Agata Jurczak leads the Milwaukee tennis team with a match win, but the team comes up short losing 6-1 to Oakland Saturday afternoon at River Glen Elite.
In doubles,
Nicole Clarke and
Loren Nelson teamed up for a 6-4 win over Grizzlies Dasha Artamonova and Allison Motea, but Gold Grizzlies clinched the doubles point winning at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
Agata Jurczak secured the only point for the Panthers in singles play defeating her opponent Allison Motea 6-2, 6-5 earning her fifth match win of the season.
UWM looks to earn its first conference victory with a matchup against Detroit Mercy Sun., April 1. The match is slated for a 1 p.m. start at River Glen Elite in Milwaukee.
