DAYTON, Ohio – Agata Jurczak led the Milwaukee tennis team with a match win, but it was not enough to propel the team towards a win over the Dayton Flyers as the Panthers fell 4-1 Saturday afternoon at the Five Season Sports Club.
Milwaukee (3-10) struggled throughout the match after losing both doubles matches at the beginning. No. 1 team
Labina Petrovska and
Anna Daniel Fuentes were in contention for a win at 4-4, but the Flyers took care of business in the latter two matches.
Agata Jurczak picked up the lone win for the Panthers in singles defeating Kelly Pleiman in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1.
The Panthers wrap up its non-conference season with a dual against Whitewater before the team turns the corner and begin Horizon League play. The Panthers and Warhawks are set for a 1 p.m. matchup in Milwaukee at River Glen Elite.
