KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Milwaukee tennis team wrapped up its fall season Sunday on the final day at the Bronco Hidden Duals with four single wins from the West Hills Athletic Club.
Freshman
Mayya Perova came away with another singles victory over Srishti Slaria of Eastern Illinois. Perova defeated 6-3, 6-4 to finish the tournament 2-1.
Alexandra Belle,
Nikki Milner and
Nicole Clarke, who struggled Saturday, finished the tournament strong coming away with a win Sunday.
The Panthers continued it's roll against Eastern Illinois on the day as Milner and Clarke took down Abby Carpenter and Claire Martin. Milner took control early in the match by winning the first set 6-4, and won comfortably in the second 6-2.
Nicole Clarke struggled in the first set but battled throughout the match to come back and win the final two sets for a 1-6, 6-5, 6-2 triumph.
The Panthers now hit the offseason and won't return to action until 2019 when they open up at Bradley in January.
