Panther’s Win Streak Snapped At Oakland

Quick turnaround sends MKE to Youngstown Saturday

ROCHESTER, Mich. – Jordan Lentz dished out 46 assists as Oakland snapped the Milwaukee volleyball team's win streak at four Friday afternoon with a 3-0 result from the O'rena.
 
The Panther (7-17, 6-5 Horizon) attack could never quite get on track in the loss, 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.
 
"Our offense just couldn't get going tonight," head coach Susie Johnson said. "It wasn't our night tonight and we have to be able to put this behind us for a quick turnaround. Tomorrow, we need to get going right from the start and find a way be productive right away."
 
Rylie Vaughn led MKE with 16 assists on the night, with Jenn Dore adding another 10.
 
Freshman Jess Grabowski once again reached double figures in digs – the ninth straight match she's done so and 21st overall on the year.
 
Jamie Walling finished with a match-high 17 kills to lead the way for Oakland (8-14, 4-7 Horizon).
 
The Panthers are right back in action Saturday with a 3 pm Central match at Youngstown State.
