No. 32 Blue Demons Too Much For Panthers

CHICAGO - Playing on the road for the sixth time in their last seven matches, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee tennis team fell, 7-0, to No. 32 DePaul Saturday afternoon at Lakeshore Sports and Fitness.

The Panthers put up a good fight against the nationally ranked Blue Demons (12-3) before ultimately falling.

At the No. 1 spot, Chelsea Bailey battled all match long before falling to Patricia Lancranjan, 6-3, 6-1. Hayley Marshall, competing in the No. 2 singles slot, dropped her match by the same score to Yuliya Shupenia.

Next up, UWM starts conference play with a trip to Green Bay Friday, March 13 for a 6:30 p.m. contest with the Phoenix.
