Tennis Falls To Iowa State

Ames, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee tennis team claimed a win at the doubles spot before coming up short to Big 12 opponent Iowa State at the Lied Recreation Athletic Center Sunday.

Freshman Mardee Merar and junior Dana Shannon grabbed a win at the doubles spot to start UWM off strong on the day.

Christina Colarossi and Alysa Straub also put up a great fight at the top spot, going back-and-forth before coming up just short.

Next, the Panthers head to Chicago to take on another power-conference opponent. Milwaukee takes on DePaul of the Big East Saturday, March 7 at 6 p.m.
