MILWAUKEE -
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team wrapped up a successful weekend at home with an easy 7-0 win over Western Illinois Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers (4-5) won all three doubles matches and then didn't drop a game in singles play in claiming the win.
Milwaukee has now won three-straight matches.
UWM was not pushed in doubles action. Diana Tokar and Alysa Straub had an 8-0 win in the top spot while Kristin Kurer and Christina Colarossi were victorious by the same score in the third spot. Dana Shannon and Aerielle Pendleton won by an 8-2 margin the second slot.
The Panthers then collected six 6-0, 6-0 victories in singles play. Tokar won up top, Colarossi and Chelsea Bailey were victorious at two and three, and Shannon, Straub and Kurer finished out the perfect run through the lineup.
Milwaukee hits the road next weekend for matches at Northern Iowa and Illinois State.
