Panthers Beat Green Bay In Dominant Performance

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team controlled play from start to finish in a dominating 7-0 win over Green Bay Friday night at North Shore Elite.

The Panthers (3-5, 1-0 Horizon) lost only two points in doubles play and then won all six singles matches in straight sets.

In doubles action, Diana Tokar and Alysa Straub claimed an 8-0 win in the top spot while UWM's other two tandems captured 8-1 victories.

Then in singles, Straub, Kristin Kurer and Dana Shannon all claimed 6-0, 6-0 victories. Plus, Diana Tokar, Christina Colarossi and Chelsean Bailey also closed out convincing wins.

Milwaukee wraps up the weekend with a home match against Western Illinois Saturday afternoon.
