DePaul captured all six singles matches and all three doubles contests in claiming a 7-0 win over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team Saturday night.
The Blue Demons (7-1) showed why they are ranked 53rd in the nation in controlling all nine matches.
In singles play, Hayley Marshall, Alysa Straub and Dana Shannon did the best jobs of extending their opponents. Marshall lost just 6-4 in the second set to Ana Vladutu after falling 6-0 in the first set. Meanwhile, Straub fell 6-2, 6-2 in the sixth spot while Shannon was on the short end of a 6-3, 6-2 decision.
Things get no easier for the Panthers next week, as Milwaukee plays at Marquette Wednesday before facing off with Michigan State Sunday.
