MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team won all six singles matches and all three doubles contests to claim a 7-0 win over IUPUI Friday night at LeClub.

The Panthers (4-2) controlled the action in doubles and then captured easy wins in the top two singles matches to set the tone for their fourth win in six spring outings.

"This was a hard-fought win for our program," head coach Sean McInerney said. "I was extremely pleased with our ability to fight back and win in multiple doubles and singles matches. I am very proud of how we have started the season at 4-2 and am looking forward to the challenge of a very good Drake team tomorrow."

Maddy Soule and Chelsea Bailey were dominant in the top two singles slots while Soule and Christina Colarossi teamed up for an 8-1 win in the top doubles match. Kelly Fritz also fought from behind to capture an impressive 3-6, 6-2, 7-5 win in the third singles spot.

"Kelly Fritz played the best tennis I have seen her play since she has worn the Panther uniform," McInerney said. "She played a very good player that honestly was on fire for much of the match. The way she found a way to win even after trailing 2-5 in the third set shows what a tough competitor she has become in our lineup."
