MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee won all six singles contests and all three doubles matches en route to a 7-0 win over Concordia (Wis.) Friday night at LeClub.

In fact, the Panthers dropped just four games in knocking off their local opponent.

The evening was highlighted by Sammi Schoen's 6-0, 6-0 win at number-three singles, giving her 51 career singles wins and making her UWM's Division I leader in singles victories.

"I am very proud of Sammi," UWM head coach Sean McInerney said. "She has been an amazing performer over the past three-and-a-half seasons as a Panther. Sammi is everything that our program strives to emulate. She is extremely competitive, a good teammate, she excels in the classroom and is very coachable. She is a vital part of our program and I am so happy that she is the player to hold this record at Milwaukee."

The match with the Falcons was added to the schedule when a match earlier this month against IUPUI was postponed by bad weather.

"I would like to thank Concordia for playing us on such short notice," McInerney said. "They played very hard and I wish them the best of luck this spring."

UWM returns to action Saturday against IPFW.
