INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team wrapped up its weekend road trip with a 6-1 loss to Butler Saturday at the Butler Tennis Bubble.

The Panthers (5-12, 2-4 Horizon) did put up a good fight across the board against the Bulldogs but could only pull out one singles point.

UWM did nearly capture the doubles point to start play. Sammi Schoen and Brittany Skemp captured an 8-5 win at #3 doubles, but it was the only contest the Panthers won. Megan Gow and Ashley Schoneman came close in the second slot before falling, 8-6.

In singles play, Kari Kastenholz claimed a three-set win over Gabriella Bobrowski in the top slot. Brittany Skemp dropped a three-set decision to Molly Casperson in the fourth spot while Kelly Drvaric put up a good fight at #2 singles before falling, 6-4, 6-3.
