KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Maddy Soule claimed a win on day two of the ITA Regional at Western Michigan University.

Soule captured a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Juan Rolina Teyoprayitno of Chicago State in the Gold Flight. She will play Kelly Barry of Marquette Sunday.

Sammi Schoen nearly pulled out another UWM victory in the Gold Flight, falling 6-3, 0-6, 6-4 to Katarina Lingl of Michigan State.

In other action Saturday, Beth Ganser, Kristin Kurer and Kelly Fritz dropped singles matches. Fritz had captured a three-set win in first round action Friday.

UWM also dropped all three of its doubles contests.
