MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team wrapped up the regular season with a 7-0 loss to Youngstown State Sunday at the Paley Tennis Center.

The Panthers (9-11, 3-5 Horizon) will now be the sixth seed in the Horizon League Championships, which start Friday in Indianapolis.

UWM dropped two of the three doubles contests to lose the first point of the match. Then, the Panthers were beaten in all six singles outings.

Milwaukee's lone victory came at #1 doubles, where Kelly Drvaric and Kari Kastenholz teamed up for an 8-4 win over Gretchen Cloern and Sarah Lynch.

In singles play, Kastenholz did extend her match in the second slot to three sets before falling to Lauren Hankle. But, UWM came up short in straight sets in the other five singles contests.

The full league tournament bracket will be announced Monday.
