MILWAUKEE - Butler University won five of six singles matches and all three doubles contests to claim a 6-1 win over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in women's tennis action Saturday at the Paley Tennis Center.

The Panthers (5-5) did capture a victory at #6 singles, where Jenna Felsher won in three sets over Michelle Hawes. Otherwise, the Bulldogs controlled the contest, winning five singles matches in straight-sets and the three doubles matches by the same 8-3 score.

"Butler is really a strong team and I would look for them to challenge for the Horizon League championship," UWM head coach Matt McCaskill said. "Obviously it was another good effort by Jenna to get a win. I thought we played well at times but obviously you have to play a lot better if you are going to beat a team like Butler."

UWM will wrap up its busy weekend by playing at Marquette Sunday afternoon.
