WHITEWATER, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team used solid performances in both singles and doubles to claim a pair of dual match wins Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers (2-0) beat both UW-Whitewater and UW-River Falls by identical 6-1 scores.

Kelly Drvaric, Kari Kastenholz and Sammi Schoen all won both of their singles matches and both of their doubles contests, while Jenna Felsher also went 2-0 at singles. In all, UWM won all six of its doubles contests and 10 of 12 singles matches.

"It was obviously a good day and it's very nice to get two victories," UWM head coach Matt McCaskill said. "Everyone played well throughout the day, and the two singles matches we lost were both against excellent, Division I-level competition. Whitewater has always posed a tough challenge for us because they are a very well-coached, energetic team. Kelly, Kari and Sammi all deserve mention for going 4-0 on the day and Jenna continues to play very well for us at singles in winning five matches in the first two weekends of her college career."

UWM will return to action in two weeks at the Ball State Invitational.
