Teegarden scored on a running header off a corner kick to send the Panthers to victory. "We've been working on crosses in practice, so I've become more consistent with corners," Winn said. "Taylor (Powell) and Teegs (Teegarden) are very direct in where they want the ball, so I know where to put it."
Milwaukee had trailed 1-0 when sophomore Ginny Graczyk sent a free kick into the six yard box in the 76th minute. After some confusion, senior Katie Campion came up with the ball and sent a shot across the goal mouth and into the net far post. Junior Taylor Powell was credited with an assist on the goal.
"After we scored our first goal, we got our confidence back and that's what helped us on our second goal," Winn said. "All week, we've been working on finishing our crosses. It was good to bring that into the games."

The Panthers' best chance came midway through the half when Graczyk sent a free kick deep into the attacking third. Junior Molly Duffy tracked the ball down, but the Detroit keeper made a point blank save to squash the attack. The Titans almost broke in the early goings of the match, as Mary Parker sent a header over the bar.
