MILWAUKEE - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to close out the regular season Saturday in Indianapolis. The Panthers (4-12, 1-6 League) fell to league foes Butler and Wright State by identical 6-1 margins.

Against the Raiders, the Panthers claimed the doubles point, with Alyssa Halcomb and Margie Van Lieshout winning over Kara Dunbar and Marie Craig at No. 1 doubles, 9-8. At No. 3 doubles, Erin Felber and Tammie Spiel pulled out the point with an 8-5 win over Laura Culbertson and Jenny Bagby. Felber picked up the lone win against the Bulldogs, winning at No. 6 singles, 6-4, 6-2.

The Panthers will return to Indianapolis this weekend for the Horizon League Championship. The Panthers will likely face Butler again in the first round of the league championship.
