HOMESTEAD, Fla. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee split a pair of games in the Homestead Challenge Thursday, falling to Rider, 12-6, before bouncing back to beat Stony Brook, 13-3.

In the win over Stony Brook, Marcellus Dawson had three hits and three RBI while Charlie Reschke added two hits and three RBI. Mikel Schaefer collected the win on the mound.

In the loss to Rider, David Michna went 2-for-4 with an RBI while Korey Keller absorbed the loss.

UWM (3-6) returns to action Friday against Stony Brook before wrapping up its trip to Florida Saturday with games against Stony Brook and Harvard.
