Panthers Fall Twice On Weekend

MILWAUKEE - The UWM women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches Sunday afternoon in Peoria, Ill, losing to DePaul by a 7-0 margin before falling to Bradley, 4-3. The pair of losses drops UWM to 1-6 on the season.

In the opener against DePaul, sophomore Tammie Spiel had the closest match, losing 6-3, 6-2. She then lost against Bradley by a 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 count. Picking up wins against the Braves were Molly Caulk at No. 4 singles by default, Megan Brown at No. 5, 6-1, 7-5, and Erin Felber at No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-3. The doubles team of Caulk and Cassie Kuranz also won at No. 2 doubles, 8-3.

The Panthers return to action on March 1, when they host Cleveland State.
