Joe Lanser joined the Panthers as the Assistant Director of Athletics-Ticket Sales & Service in January 2023, and enters his third full season in the role in 2025-26.
Before coming to Milwaukee, Lanser was the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations at North Dakota State from August 2021 until January 2023. At North Dakota State he was the primary ticket contact for baseball, volleyball, and wrestling, while also overseeing the department's group sales program. Included in his responsibilities, Lanswer supervised a staff of student and part-time game day and office staff. He was apart of several sellouts in both football and volleyball and oversaw an increase in group sales numbers.
Prior to his time at North Dakota State, Lanser worked at Sam Houston State from 2020 until August 2021, where he was the primary ticket contact for men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. While at Sam Houston he drafted the plan to bring back basketball fans during the COVID-19 pandemic and navigated multiple sports during the spring 2021 season. He got his start as an Event Operations Graduate Assistant at Parkside.
The Green Bay, Wisconsin native received his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Parkside in May 2018 and his master’s degree in sport management from Parkside in December 2021. He started his academic career at Wisconsin-Fox Valley where he was a member of the men’s tennis team.
He currently resides in nearby St. Francis, Wisconsin, with his cat, Simon.
