Hayley Johnson was named the head cheerleading coach at Milwaukee in advance of the 2023-24 academic year, and is in her third season in the role in 2025-26.
No stranger to the Panther cheerleading program, Johnson was a member of the team and graduated in May 2022 from Milwaukee with her degree in Biomedical Science, while also minoring in chemistry.
Johnson was a member of the cheerleading team from May of 2017 through April of 2021, and earned the team’s leadership award in 2020 after serving the 2019-20 season as a captain.
Her involvement with cheerleading goes beyond her time as a student at Milwaukee, and was a cheer coach and numerous clinics from 2013 through 2020. While coaching, she was responsible for reaching cheer teams and individuals, while also organizing routines, and creating schedules for the programs.
Away from cheerleading, Johnson currently works in a clinical position in nearby Brookfield, while also serving as an emergency medical technician in Milwaukee.
