Coley Kilpatrick is back on the Milwaukee baseball coaching staff for his second season with the Panthers in 2027.
He serves the team as the Panthers’ assistant pitching coach and analytics coach working with Milwaukee’s pitchers on mechanics and delivery, while also creating scouting reports on opposing hitters.
Kilpatrick has been mentoring pitchers since graduating from North Carolina A&T in December 2024, which began during his final semester in college with D-BAT in Wake Forest, N.C.
In his two seasons at A&T with the Aggies, Kilpatrick primarily served as a starter with 26 starts in 29 appearances while pitching 4.89 ERA. He amassed 116 strikeouts over 143 2/3 innings, including 68 strikeouts over 85 innings as a senior.
Prior to his time with the Aggies, he pitched two seasons at Brunswick Community College in Bolivia, N.C. While there he struck out 63 batters over 41 1/3 innings while making 22 appearances and eight starts for the Dolphins.
Kilpatrick spent the summer of 2025 with the Pioneer Baseball League’s Grand Junction Jackalopes and spent the summer of 2026 pitching with the Utica Unicorns of the United Shore Professional Baseball League.
He earned his associate in arts degree from Brunswick CC in 2022 and later added his bachelor’s degree in science, journalism & mass comm (public relations) from North Carolina A&T State in 2024.
