Annika Cole joined the Milwaukee sports performance staff in 2026-27 as an assistant strength & conditioning coach.
She brings experience working with collegiate athletes across a variety of sports, along with a background in gymnastics coaching and physical therapy.
Cole most recently served as a head undergraduate assistant at Simpson College, working under the Director of Sports Performance with the men’s basketball program while also contributing to other sports.
She also gained strength and conditioning experience through internships with DI Training in Altoona and Sacramento State football, where she assisted with training sessions, warmups, lifts, mobility and recovery while utilizing sport science technology including VALD Force Plates and NordBord systems.
A native of California, Cole earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Simpson College in 2026. During her time there, she competed as a member of the gymnastics program while gaining hands-on experience in athletic performance.
Cole is CPR and CSCS certified and has experience with a variety of performance and assessment technologies, including VALD Force Plates, VALD NordBord, Titan GPS, Brower Timing Systems, OVR VBT Units and Perch Technology.
