Andrew Hatch returns for his fifth season as Assistant Track and Field Coach for sprints, hurdles, and relays in 2026-27.

During his time with the program, Hatch has guided the Panthers to 21 individual sprint and hurdle championships, along with seven relay titles, through his first four seasons.

Nine student-athletes have qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries during the outdoor track & field season under Hatch's guidance. Natalie Block qualified five times across two events during her career, while Golden Cotton and Jaelyn Reeves-Lile each qualified twice in two different events.

Hatch has also coached five student-athletes to Outstanding Running Performer honors, including four during the outdoor season. Block was named the Alfreeda Goff Athlete of the Year three times, while Cotton earned the honor once during his career under Hatch.

Before making his way to Milwaukee, Hatch spent the previous two seasons as volunteer coach at Iowa, working with the sprinters and hurdlers. With Hatch on staff, the Hawkeyes saw three Big Ten Men’s Championships, three Big Ten Individual Championships, 15 national qualifiers, and 10 school records.

In addition to coaching two years with the Hawkeyes, Hatch spent time with the Iowa Speed Track Club as well as the Delta Plus Elite Track Club. He holds a USATF Level 2 coaching certification.

Hatch graduated from Illinois State with a bachelor of Kinesiology where he raced four years with the Redbirds sprint team.
