Following a four-year playing career with the Panthers, Josie Johnson joins the coaching staff as a student assistant in 2026.
Johnson was an integral part in the Panther rotation throughout her career, finishing her career eighth on the career assists list with 2,342 over 127 career matches played. She was also one of the team’s top servers during her career and ended her playing time with 79 service aces.
Academically, Johnson was a member of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team as a senior. She will be completing her degree at UW-Milwaukee in December of 2026.
Prior to her arrival at Milwaukee, she played at Waterford High School. While at Waterford she was an All-State, All-County, and All-Conference selection as a senior. She played club volleyball for both the Milwaukee Sting and Burlington Elite.
