Finished the season with an overall record of 21-12 in singles play and 20-11 in doubles action to cap an impressive freshman campaign ...  recorded 20-plus singles victories, the first Panther to achieve the milestone since 2017 ... also the first to top 20+ victories in doubles since 2019 ... named an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete and to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll ... enjoyed quite the collegiate debut, going 2-1 in both singles and doubles play at the Bethany Moore Classic Sept. 23-24 ... topped two different Ball State players in singles (7-5, 6-1 & 6-2, 6-3) and teamed with Anika Tylek to knock off Butler (8-4) and Dayton (8-2) ... rolled into the next weekend at the Warhawk Invitational and posted a perfect 3-0 mark in singles, defeating Whitewater (7-6 {11-9], 6-0), Lewis (6-4, 6-2), and Northern Illinois (6-1, 6-1) and also earned a 2-1 mark in doubles ... started dual season with a 2-0 day against Hillsdale Jan. 22, winning at No. 5 singles (6-0, 6-3) as well as No. 2 doubles (6-0) ... won her singles matches against Creighton (6-3, 6-2 Feb. 19) and Marquette (6-3, 2-6, 11-9 Feb. 25) before earning the clinching team point in the victory over Northern Iowa March 4 with her 6-0, 5-7, 6-0 decision ... on winning doubles teams three straight matches in early March, topping Northern Iowa (6-2 March 4), UIC (6-2 March 5), and Whitewater (6-4 March 12) ...picked upa nice comeback singles win at Valparaiso March 25, winning 3-6, 6-4, 10-8 ... finished the regular season with singles wins over Northern Kentucky April 22 (6-3, 6-1 at No. 3) and IUPUI April 23 (7-6 [7-1], 6-4 at No. 3 before topping NKU again April 28 in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament (6-2, 6-4 at No. 3) ... finished her doubles season with three straight victories before falling to Youngstown State in the Horizon League Tournament semifinals April 29.

Lists playing on the Wimbledon courts twice for the 14U Roar to Wimbledon when she was 11 and 14 years old as her most memorable sports moment … volunteered for a choir of adopted children to help them get into music … enjoys cooking, listening to music and doing thrill-seeking activities … competed in tennis throughout high school and also played Netball for two years … daughter of Patricia and Kevin Shields … born February 15, 2004 ...  a Kinesiology major in school.
