Biography

2008-09: Capped one of the most illustrious careers in program history with school-record swims in the 100 butterfly, 200 fly and 200 IM at the Horizon League Championships ... became just the sixth athlete in league history to win conference titles four times in the same event when she claimed the title in the 200 fly, setting a new league record in the process ... graduates holding seven current school records and one league record ... won six individual league titles overall in her illustrious career ... also placed second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 fly at the championships ... member of the record-breaking 200 and 400 medley relay teams ... team captain as a senior ... named team MVP ... placed in the top three in every race but one on the season, winning an impressive 13 times while taking second 11 more ... won the 100 and 200 fly and took second in the 200 IM against Wright State Oct. 31 ... won all four races she swam against IUPUI/Xavier/Saint Louis Nov. 14-15 ... repeated as Academic All-Horizon League Team selection ... also named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.


2007-08: Set a new school and Horizon League record in winning her third-straight league title in the 200 butterfly at the league championships ... also placed third in the 400 IM and third in the 200 IM, setting a school mark in the 200 IM in the process ... swam with the school-record setting 800 free relay team and the 400 medley relay team that earned second team all-league honors ... served as a team captain ... named to the Academic All-Horizon League Team ... recorded 14 victories on the season, including ending the year winning six-straight in the 200 fly ... 27 top-three showings out of 30 races on the season ... named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week Dec. 11 after winning all four of her individual events against South Dakota State Dec. 7 and Valparaiso Dec. 8 ... won the 200 fly and 200 IM versus Wheaton Nov. 2 and Western Illinois Jan. 26 ... claimed wins in the 200 fly and 400 IM against UIC/Butler Nov. 10 ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

2006-07: Picked up right where she left off as a sophomore, winning league titles in the 400 IM, 200 butterfly and as a member of the 400 medley relay team ... also earned All-Horizon Second Team honors in the 200 IM ... recorded season-best times in all three of her individual events at the championships ... ended the season with 19 victories, six seconds and three thirds in 31 races, including wins in nine of 11 races in the 200 fly ... key part of UWM relays ... dominated the meet against Valparaiso Nov. 11, winning the 100 fly, 200 fly and 400 IM ... named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week on three occasions, including after the Wheaton Invitational Dec. 2 where she won the 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM in then-season best times.

2005-06: Enjoyed a stellar freshman campaign, capping it with league titles in the 400 IM and 200 butterfly, as well as a second-place finish in the 200 IM at the Horizon League Championships ... lowered school and freshman records in all three events in the process ... swam on UWM's league championship 400 free and medley relay teams, helping set school and league records in both ... member of the 800 free relay team that set a new school mark ... also set a UWM freshman record in the 100 fly at Air Force Jan. 13 ... reset school, freshman or Klotsche Natatorium records 22 times over the course of the season ... registered 21 victories and six more second-place finishes in 39 races on the year, while finishing lower than third just three times ... named Horizon League Swimmer of the Week Jan. 25 and Oct. 19.

High School: Was a first-team all-state swimmer as a senior, helping her team to a second-place finish at the state meet ... finished as the state champion in the 200 IM and 100 breast and part of two first-place relays (200 IM and 400 free) at the same event ... was named Girls Division II Swimmer of the Year.

Personal: Parents are Michael and Mary Finn ... a journalism and mass communications major at UWM ... lists the state meet in high school as her most memorable sports experience ... made the honors list each year in high school ... part of relay teams at Lake Country to set SCY records in the 200 and 800 free relay, as well as the 200 and 400 medley relay ... also helped set a Wisconsin LCM record in the 400 free relay.
