Katie Walsh joined the Milwaukee Athletic Training staff in the summer of 2019 providing care for the women's soccer and swimming & diving programs. She enters her seventh full season with the staff in 2025-26.
In addition to her role as an athletic trainer, Walsh also serves as a preceptor and ad-hoc lecturer for Milwaukee's Master of Science in Athletic Training Program.
Walsh returns to Milwaukee after spending two years as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Virginia Tech. During her time in Virginia, she earned a master's degree in education while working with their women’s soccer and softball teams.
Walsh attended Marquette University graduating with a bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2017. She is a certified instructor through the American Red Cross and has completed the Master Dry Needling DN-1 course. Walsh has been the District 11 Representative for the NATA Early Professionals' Committee since the summer of 2022.
