Tori Ghilardi joins the Milwaukee sports medicine staff for her first season in 2025-26.
 
Ghilardi will work with the Panther cross country and baseball teams, while assisting in other areas within athletic training.
 
Coming to Milwaukee from the University of Iowa, Ghilardi worked with the Hawkeyes’ cross country and track & field programs while in Iowa City. While there she provided medical care for the teams and helped coordinate appointments with other members of the sports medicine team including dieticians, mental health providers, and team physicians.
 
Prior to her one season at Iowa, Ghilardi was the Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Director of Athletics at Dominican University located in River Forest, Illinois. With the Stars, she was responsible for all aspects of the athletic training and sports medicine services for the department, working with 14 different teams.
 
She spent nearly three full years at Dominican as the head athletic trainer, where she oversaw two assistant athletic trainers and supervised all documentation, concussion testing all while managing the supply budget and ordering. Before being promoted, Ghilardi was an assistant athletic trainer at Dominican for over two years.
 
Before her time at Dominican, Ghilardi worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Illinois State University for two years, working with the women’s soccer team. She also worked for five months as a staff athletic trainer at UW-Whitewater, working with the track & field and women’s gymnastics teams. Before that she was an athletic training student at the University of Wisconsin.
 
Ghilardi is BOC Certified as well as an Iowa and Illinois licensed athletic trainer. She is also an American Heart Association BLS Provider among her many other certifications. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
 
Ghilardi graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s of science in Athletic Training, and later went on to add a master’s degree of science in Athletic Training from Illinois State University.
