Priscilla Schultz joins Milwaukee as the associate head cross country coach and an assistant track & field coach, beginning her first season with the Panthers in 2025-26.

Schultz comes to the staff after spending the past three seasons as an assistant coach for both the cross country and track & field programs at the University of Arizona. While in Tucson, she assisted the head distance coach in overseeing the distance and cross country groups and led the 800m group during the 2024-25 season. Her responsibilities also included managing home meets and coordinating official visits for recruits.

During her time at Arizona, Schultz successfully coached multiple athletes to top-25 conference rankings and guided several into the program’s all-time Top-10 list. Among her accomplishments, she led the steeplechase group to score key points at the conference championship meet.

Before her time at Arizona, Schultz served as the head cross country coach and was an assistant track coach at Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, for more than three years. Under her leadership, both the boys’ and girls’ teams qualified for the AIA State Championship, with several student-athletes earning all-state honors, including the 2021 Division I state champion in the 800m.

Schultz began her collegiate coaching career at Arizona State University, where she first served as a volunteer assistant coach before taking on the role of director of track & field operations during her final year in Tempe.

As a student-athlete, Schultz competed for the Sun Devils at Arizona State and earned national recognition in both in cross country and track & field. She competed in the 2000 USATF Olympic Trials in the 800m and 1500m events and qualified for the 2001 and 2002 USA Outdoor National Championships in the 1500m. She was also the 2001 USATF Club National Champion in cross country.

Schultz earned her undergraduate degree in exercise science/kinesiology from Arizona State. She was an Academic All-American and the first female All-American in Sun Devil cross country history. Her decorated career included school records in the mile and 1500m, along with top-10 marks in the 800m, mile, 1500m, and 3000m.

She holds USATF Level Two Coaching Certified in both endurance and sprints, as well as  a USATF Cross Country Specialist Certification.

Schultz is married to her husband, Jay, a Wisconsin native, and together they have three daughters: Abbey, Maddie, and Sophia.
