2006: Made an immediate impact at UWM, batting .252 in 47 games (34 starts) as a junior ... had 22 walks and was hit by pitch five times for .390 OBP ... started 20 games at third and 14 at shortstop ... started first game of season against Saint Mary's (Calif.), going 2-for-4 with a run scored in 2-0 win ... knocked in two runs against Akron March 19 ... hit .354 in final 20 games of season, going 17-for-48 in that stretch to raise season average over 80 points ... went 3-for-4 with two runs batted in and season-high four runs scored against Cleveland State May 7 ... put together five-game hitting streak May 13-16 ... went 1-for-2 with three walks and three runs scored in win over Chicago State May 16 ... tied season-high with three hits versus Butler May 20.
Prior to UWM: Spent two seasons at Duke University, lettering twice as an infielder/pitcher ... in 2005, had five hits, four runs scored, and two runs batted in, making eight starts in 16 appearances.
High School: Played two seasons at University School of Milwaukee, lettering both seasons ... hit .609 as a senior with 12 doubles, two triples, five home runs and 32 RBIs ... also stole 22 bases and scored 42 runs ... was a two-time all-conference selection in both hockey and baseball and was named conference baseball player of the year in 2002 ... was an AP Scholar with distiction and a National Merit Finalist.
