Malika Glover is back the Milwaukee basketball coaching staff for her second season in 2025-26.
Glover comes joined the Panthers coaching staff after spending the previous four seasons at Horizon League member Youngstown State. In her role with the Penguins, she assisted in the areas of recruiting, player development, and scouting.
While in Northeast Ohio, Glover worked with the guards including All-Conference selections Megan Callahan and Chelsea Olson, while Mady Aulbach was an All-Defensive Team selection under Glover’s watch. Dena Jarrells also scored her 1,000th point under Glover’s watch in 2023-24.
During her time on the staff, Youngstown State won 66 games including a 24-win season in 2021-22, resulting in an appearance in the Women’s NIT after winning the Horizon League Regular Season Championship that season.
Prior to her time at Youngstown State, Glover served as video coordinator and assistant recruiting director at the University of South Dakota.
During the 2019-20 season with the Coyotes, the team finished the regular season with a 30-2 record including an unblemished 16-0 mark in the Summit League. The team won both the conference regular season and tournament championships prior to the COVID-19 cancellation of that year’s NCAA Division I Championship. The Coyotes reached as high as No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, and No. 17 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Glover played collegiately at Northern Kentucky, helping the team to a 19-win season and to a three seed in the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. The Norse reached the league championship game and fell to top-seeded Florida Gulf Coast. The team was selected for the Women’s Basketball Invitational (WBI) and hosted Marshall in the opening round. Glover began her collegiate playing career at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
Glover graduated from Northern Kentucky with an undergraduate degree in organizational leadership with a concentration in entrepreneurship. She later added a graduate degree in public administration with a focus on non-profit management.
As a student-athlete at NKU, Glover received the Dr. Leon Booth Most Inspirational Award, while also serving as the President of the Atlantic Sun Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Away from her studies basketball career, she has gone on service trips to Ukraine, Moldova, Togo, and Belize between 2012-17.
