2009-10: Incredible performance at the Horizon League Championships helped him earn Men's Newcomer of the Year honors ... earned second team all-league honors in both the 500 freestyle and 1000 free at the championship meet, establishing UWM school and freshman records in both events ... also placed fourth in the 1650 free, breaking the Milwaukee freshman standard in the process ... eclipsed both school and freshman records in the prelims of the 500 free, taking first ... on the school-record 800 free relay team that won second team all-league honors, earning an NCAA 'B' cut with their time ... won the 50 free in his only attempt of the year, leading the way against Valparaiso Nov. 21 ... fourth in the 500 free and fifth in the 200 free at the Falcon Invitational Dec. 4-5 ... won the 500 free against Western Illinois Jan. 30.

 

High School: Led his team to a state championship as a senior ... earned two state crowns as a member of the 400 freestyle relay team and was All-American in both the 200 and 400 free relays in his career ... three-time all-conference swimmer also earned all-state honors on eight occasions in four different events ... team captain ... earned the team's most improved award as a sophomore and the coach's award as a senior ... also was captain for the water polo team, where he was an all-conference selection.
