Started the season at the Wisconsin Showcase competing in the 100 back and 50 free... placed sixth in the 100 free at Wheaton (Ill.) on November 2.

2023-24 (Junior)
Did not compete... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

2022-23 (Sophomore)
Placed 16th in the 200 breaststroke (2:08.71/2:07.62), 17th in the 100 breast (57.70), and 31st in the 200 IM (1:56.59) at the Horizon League Championships, establishing season-best times in each ... his prelims time in the 200 breast was also the lowest on the team for the season ... opened the season with three events at UIC Oct. 15, placing fifth in the 200 breast, sixth in the 100 breast, and eighth in the 200 IM ... helped MKE to the win over Green Bay Jan. 28, taking fifth in both the 200 freestyle in 1:48.50 and 200 breast in a clocking of 2:13.85 ... named to the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll.

2021-22 (Freshman)
Closed his freshman season by swimming in three events at the Horizon League Championships, placing 17th in the 200 breaststroke (season-best 2:06.60), 18th in the 100 breast (season-best 58.00), and 28th in the 200 IM (1:55.35) ... opened the season against IUPUI by finishing fourth in the 200 breast (2:17.12) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:01.03) ... was runner-up in the 100 back (55.14) November 5 against Wheaton (Ill.) ... placed fourth in the 100 freestyle (49.45) and sixth in the 100 breast (1:01.79) February 4 against St. Thomas ... posted a season-best 200 IM time of 1:54.83 at the IUPUI House of Champions Invitational.

High School: Competed in the breaststroke and backstroke at Chaparral High School … named runner-up for swimmer of the year honors … placed second in the 200 IM and fifth in the 100 breast at the AIA State DI Championships, helping the Firebirds to a state title … academic award honoree for highest GPA … also swam for the Scottsdale Aquatic Club (2013-20) and JForce (2020-21) … graduated with honors … Dean’s List and National Honor Society member.
 
Personal: Son of Darrin and Michele Walters … majoring in biochemistry and minoring in Chinese … chose Milwaukee because of the team atmosphere and the academic programs offered … career goal is to become either a medical examiner for the FBI or use his Chinese knowledge to become a translator … most memorable sports experience was winning a state title and breaking state records during the season as well as reaching different cut times and traveling to meets in other states … hobbies include hiking, canoeing, volunteering at animal shelters, and watching Netflix … has also done volunteer work with the Special Olympics … born Jan. 1, 2003.
