Prior to UWM: Redshirted the 2014 season at San Diego State … will have four years of eligibility as a Panther after not competing at SDSU.
 
High School: A two-time all-state selection and runner-up for Minnesota's 2013 ‘Mr. Soccer’ … participated in the 2013 All-American game … the Minneapolis Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year and a finalist for Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior after recording 11 goals – seven game-winners – and seven assists in addition to his role on the back line … two-time First-Team All-Metro honoree … just the third four-year varsity starter in his school’s history, the two-time team captain helped lead the Lakers to the state championship game as a freshman and a third-place finish as a sophomore.
 
Personal: Son of Theresa Bechay … a political science major in school … chose UWM because of the strong soccer history, the coaching staff and the academics … career goal is to stay healthy and ride out his soccer career as long as possible … most memorable sports experience was winning the 2011 State Cup … played club soccer for Minneapolis United … born Oct. 11, 1995.
