Was a member of the Stevens Point Pointers as a freshman … named All-WIAC Honorable Mention following the conclusion of the season … helped the Pointers to a 33-14 record including a 19-5 mark in conference games … the team hosted and won the NCAA Regionals before falling on the road in the Super Regionals … made 14 appearances and nine starts as a freshman … finished the season having thrown 63 1/3 innings while posting a 6-2 record with one save … held batters to a .249 batting average while striking out 51 batters and pitching to a 3.84 ERA … had a 1.29 WHIP allowing just 61 hits and 21 walks during the season … made his collegiate debut and earned a three-inning save with four strikeouts against St. Scholastica (3/5) … made his first career start and struck out three over six innings of work against Ithaca (3/16) … earned the first win of his career as he allowed just one run and struck out six over six innings of work (3/21) … pitched two scoreless innings against Washington St. Louis (4/1) … struck out six and earned the win as he threw five innings against La Crosse (4/7) … pitched a season-high 6 1/3 innings and struck out six to earn the victory at Eau Claire (4/29) … pitched two innings in relief and earned the win in the NCAA Regionals against Webster (5/20) … followed that up with a five-inning start and threw 90 pitches to earn the victory for the second-straight day over the Gorlocks (5/21) … finished his season without allowing an earned run over 3 1/3 innings in the Super Regionals against La Crosse (5/26).
