2017-18 Season
2018 Outdoor: Competed in three meets on the year ... opened things up taking 21st in the 1500m in 4:22.64 at the Big Blue Classic Mar. 31 ... lowered that time to 4:20.47 at DePaul April 21 ... finished 33rd in the same event at the Drake Alternative one week later.
2018 Indoor: Ran at three meets on the season ... started things off by taking 24th in the mile in 4:43.36 at the home Tierney Classic Jan. 20 ... two weeks later, finished 14th in the same event at the Parkside Classic ... turned in a season-best mile time of 4:34.85 for third place at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 17.
2017 Cross Country: Came in 63rd at the Horizon League Championships in 28:45.7 ... started his sophomore season taking 65th at the UIC Opener Sept. 2 with a time of 21:59.21 ... one week later, just missed a scoring spot at the Vic Godfrey Open in 28:11.4 ... turned in a season-best time of 27:32.21 at the Sam Bell Invite Sept. 30.
2016-17 Season
2017 Outdoor: Competed in two meets as a freshman before suffering a season-ending injury ... finished runner-up in the 5000m at the season-opening Edmonds Invite Mar. 25 ... also ran the 1500m once, taking 24th at Marquette April 7.
2017 Indoor: Competed in the 3000m at the Horizon League Championships as a freshman ... made his collegiate track debut at the home Tierney Classic Jan. 21, taking 23rd in the 3k ... one week later, came in eighth in the mile at the Parkside Classic ... finished runner-up in the 3000m at the Panther Tune-Up Feb. 18.
2016 Cross Country: Competed in four meets as a freshman ... made his collegiate debut Sept. 10 at the Midwest Classic, taking 131st in 29:33.4 ... had a huge drop in time three weeks later at the massive Louisville Classic, crossing the line in 27:10.54 ... lowered that time to 27:03.8 at the Bradley Classic Oct. 14 ... came in 61st as a freshman at the Horizon League Championships in 28:28.4.
High School
Ran all four years in both cross country and track and field at Grafton High School ... was a team captain for both sports both junior and senior years ... earned Die Hard, Most Improved and MVP awards in cross country ... was named first team all-conference both as a junior and senior ... also qualified for state individually final two years, taking 30th as a junior and 38th as a senior ... was a state finalist in the 3200m junior and senior years ... also competed in swimming and diving all four years.
